Our co-location services provide a reliable, secure and stable environment for your hardware. By operating our own facility we cut out the middle man and don’t have to worry about the relationship between your provider and the datacentre operator.

Same Day Setup

If you need to get your server up and running as fast as possible, we can help you get your server in our racks and connected on the same day.

Private Subnet & VLAN

Planning to co-location multiple servers to our facility? we can setup a private subnet (VLAN) to allow safe and secure local connections between your servers.

Remote Management

All our plans come with remote management capabilities, providing you with an additional 100Mb/s network port to manage your server over IPMI, iDrac, iLo, etc.

Unlimited Fast Bandwidth

At Purple IO we own our very own Data Centre in the UK, therefore all our servers use our dedicated backbone, supporting upto 40G local network speeds.

Co-Location Service Plans

Prices per month is in advance; minimum contract duration is 1 month.

Upon completion of your order, you'll be required to send your server to our data centre.
If you'd like us to de-rack your equipment, transport it and install it for you please get in touch for a quote.

Upgrades & Extras

Backup Storage

Backup your important data to our NAS based storage (up to 5TB) using either Samba or SFTP.

IP Addresses

Every plan comes with 1 IPv4 address included, if you require more you can upgrade to a larger subnet upon approval of an RIPE submission.

Network Port Upgrade

Our minimum connection is 100mbps which is sufficient in many cases, however if you require a higher speed connection you can upgrade to a 1gbps port.

Data Transfer

Increase your monthly data transfer from our standard 10TB per month all the way to being unmetered, enjoying no limitations.

Firewall Co-Location

By default you can choose between having no firewall (direct internet connection), choosing our managed Cisco firewall (send us a ticket to manage your open / closed ports) or manage your own dedicated Cisco firewall.

A+B Redundancy Upgrade (APC PDU)

Upgrade from a single power lead to 2 power leads to have A+B power redundancy (1 power lead will be connected to the A side whilst the other with be connected to the B side)

A+B redundancy means you'll have power on 2 different supplies of power, if one goes down your equipment will still have power providing it has more than one power input (most servers and switches tend to support 2 or more power inputs).

No, as long as you give us 24 hours to organise a disconnection / power down of your equipment before you pick up / arrange collection, you're free to cancel whenever you like.

Providing you're based in England, UK the answer is Yes, simply get in touch with our team today, we can provide you with a quote for de-racking, transportation and install costs of your equipment using our own engineers.

Yes, one of our engineers can install your equipment once it arrives, we also make a record of your equipment along with its serial / tag number.

By default, no. You're responsible for getting your own equipment insured, however we can provide you with a quote to add your equipment to our insurance, we just need to know the replacement value of your equipment.

Yes! We have our own Cyber Insurance cover.

Yes! We have a dedicated area for setting up / testing your equipment before it reaches the data floor, we can also check the power consumption of your equipment to ensure it's below the amperage of your plan.

Yes! We can help you undertake any maintenance or carry out any tasks required by an on-site engineer, we typically charge £45/hour (minimum 1 hour charge).

Yes! You can co-locate pretty much anything into our data centre, we also have GSM support from various mobile providers if your devices require this.

Yes! Get in touch with our team today, and we can work out the best solution for you. You could require a dedicated full rack, half rack or quarter rack depending on the amount of equipment you have and your preferences.

Yes! Just be aware we charge based on quarter rack, half-rack and full rack prices, so if you require a dedicated full rack to keep your equipment isolated from others we still have to charge you for a full rack whether you fill it up or not.

Yes! We have an on-site generator, along with our per cabinet APC UPS's (lead-acid batteries) and our Hybrid Solar PV and Battery storage (lithium phosphate batteries).

Yes! We have our very own solar and battery storage system, providing power to our data center (keeping our costs low and our data center green). If we have a bad solar day or using more than we can generate we will pull from the grid, however locally there is also a solar farm nearby.
